The start of something

…I will be using this blog to strengthen my writing skills…

Since this is the first post, I’m going to make it a bit informal. I’ll start off by giving you a little background about the purpose of this blog. First and foremost I will be using this blog to strengthen my writing skills. I will update my site with a new article at least once a day and maybe sometimes more if inspiration strikes.

There is not one true subject to this blog. I will be writing articles, creative fiction, Top 10 lists, product reviews, software reviews, opinion pieces, reactions to news stories and anything else about which I’m inspired to talk. It is my hope that you, the readers, will enjoy your time spent here as much as I enjoy spending time writing here.

Now that I’ve introduced you to my blog, I think it’s time that I introduced you to me, the author. My name is Liam Clark; I am from a small town on the border of Kentucky, Ohio and West Virginia. I am an aspiring freelance writer trying to make a living out of something that I love to do. A few of the traits that make me unique are: I am an animal rights activist and vegetarian, I can sing, I live with Bipolar 1 disorder/generalized anxiety and ADHD.

I’ve faced and overcome many obstacles, failures and tragedies in my lifetime that have all led to this pivotal moment. The road ahead will be long and winding, rough and uneven. There will be ups and downs, and probably some diagonals. Through it all, I hope that you will stick with me and enjoy watching me grow and mature in this new field.

From here on out, the articles in this blog will be written, proofread and edited, by me, before being posted. I intend to put quite a bit of time and effort into the material that I present to my audience. Feedback and constructive criticism is always welcome and if you see something that you like, feel free to get in touch with me about doing some writing for you!

Without further Ado, I declare Write Out N the Open officially Live.
